I don’t have sufficient space to even try to tell the story of these two remarkable people.
Let’s just say that I first met Robin, when she was, hmmmm . . . 2 1/2 years old. Yes, just a little girl, but feisty and beautiful. I met Shane when he was a teenager. Shane was handsome and reserved but with a smile the size of the world. Shane could make an entire room full of cranky people smile just with his laugh. What a great kid he was!
Shane and Robin met in school but they were just friends. They went on with their separate lives and a lot, I mean a lot, happened in their lives, from their own marriages, relationships, and of course children of their own. But their destiny was somehow written, that one day, they would come together again under the most crazy circumstances. Those who know Shane & Robin will be smiling right about now.
I did a destination wedding for Shane’s brother (Sean, and his new bride Nadia) in Punta Cana a few years before. And they are another beautiful couple.
But this was Shane and Robin’s time, and of course it was a destination wedding in Punta Cana. What a beautiful wedding, great guests and a gorgeous resort on Bavaro Beach. I was privileged to capture some of the most amazing images of this beautiful couple. The love between them was just ‘sick’
Last year, at another destination wedding, we were together again during Zara and Shaquir’s wedding which I photographed. Another beautiful couple getting married on destination wedding and friends of Shane and Robin. This time the destination wedding was in Jamaica and Robin had a baby bump. I was not going to miss this opportunity to capture some amazing destination lifestyle maternity photography.
Last December the baby bump produced little Leland, what a cutie!
Classic moment . . . classic Shane.
Aren’t they sweet
